tree house revised

so here is my revision of our tree house assignment we did for vis dev. i am having trouble making the light look like light coming from behind the boy (gary). i have streaks in it and am now thinking about using a gradient and erasing parts of it i dont want. havent figure it out yet, but i have high hopes for my next pieces because i have been working a bunch more with a couple of brushes in photoshop and think that i will be able to get some nice texture to my pieces.

i am taking a beginning ceramics class. i really do enjoy it and have some of my work posted here to inspire others to look to other mediums for inspiration and for fun! the colors are done by a process called raku. it is a Japanese process where oxidation produces the effects and limiting the o2 is a large part of the process.
