touch up

I decided that I would only spend a little more time on this painting. I wanted to get it to a state that I would be comfortable leaving it in. I feel its 98% there. But for now I leave it as it and hope to never meed something like this.... EVER!

Painting today

So I have a gap of free time and decided to paint over one of my sketches. I have been meaning to paint digitally for a while, try some new stuff and old stuff out. Here is the painting as of now. I hope to keep pushing it further along in the future to a finished state.

Did a still life, about 45 min. Inspired by Aletta's awesome paintings she always does. I decided to start trying to do these myself and hopefully I will improve and get to Aletta's awesome level!

One of my last day's on Cal Train, I wanted to start something I might actually keep up. A zombie/vampire/monster a day. While I haven't kept to doing one a day, I have been doing a few a week. This was the most promising one yet. I was really inspired that day by that guy on the train.


This is a bit old, but I really liked this project (the BFG) and have since kept the style going.

So it has been way too long. I want to make posting more regular that it has been. So I will start with this piece I did a long while back while waiting to get onto Cal Train and while on it there were more elements were added.

BFG Final.

Had no time to post earlier in the project because it was so busy. So here is what I turned in a little over a week ago. Its still in the format that my group and I chose to present it in. We decided to run with a 2-d style and I must say I am proud of the group as a whole after seeing everyone's artwork put together, its awesome. Great job to my group mates, Katie Corna, Emily Kruger, Vui Mai, and Christine Nguyen!
